The Wild Colonial is, depending on your perspective, a travelogue with substance, or a political blog with character. I’ll be traveling the western world – or perhaps more accurately, the global north – throughout 2011, and offering perspectives on the current events or political issues of the area through the perspective of living there and hopefully absorbing some of the culture which has created that political climate and those issues. You can’t understand a nation’s politics until you understand that nation’s people.
